I don’t see any first round first seeds upsets. Legend has it 5/12 match up are the ones to watch. Lets start there.
In the South we 5 Wichita State and Virginia Commonwealth coming in at a 12 seed. I see VCU taking this and no I will not post the spread.
In the West region 12 seeded Long Beach State trying to upset a 5 seed New Mexico. No upset here. Even though LBSU had one loss in their conference. Just don’t see it happening.
How’s the filthy East looking for a 12 seed. Not good because you have Vanderbilt as the fifth seed and Harvard coming in at the number 12. Vandy held their own versus the Wildcats and got the SEC title.
And rounding out the 5/12 match-ups in the Midwest. Is Temple a 5 seed against the 12 seed California or South Florida depending on the outcome. I gotta go with the home team on this on (no money on it) and say Cal will upset Temple the 5 seeed.
Games start on 14 March Wed that’s couple days from today. With (16) Vermont vs (16) Lamar and (12) South Florida vs (12) California, game start at 6:40PM EST. CBS Sports

Who I got picked for the final four? I went off this
Pool rules for March Madness nah, I looked at the bracket and came to this conclusion.
Wildcats, Michigan State, Cuse, and Michigan (I’m a North Carolina fan it happens)
And Kentucky vs. Syracuse with the Orangeman taking it all. This isn’t football. Big East is the toughest conference and Cuse had to beat some quality teams in that conference.

edit- Melo is out for the tournament. I’m going to stick with Syracuse to win it all. that 2-3 zone will live on without him because they are deep.
